Drug Overdose

Actress Hayden Panettiere, known for her roles in TV series 'Heroes' and 'Nashville', died from a cocktail of drugs that included fentanyl, according to a coroner's report.

Panettiere, 36, was found unresponsive at a home in South Carolina last month by her long-term partner Brian Hickerson and his brother.

Emergency responders administered Narcan, a drug used to counter fentanyl overdose, but Panettiere could not be revived.

Cause of Death

The Greenville County Coroner's Office stated that Panettiere's death was an accident and reported no signs of trauma.

Tests revealed the presence of fentanyl, Xanax, a muscle relaxant, and an antipsychotic drug in her system.

The coroner's office noted that these drugs contributed to her toxic death.

Background and Personal Struggles

Panettiere's career included appearances in 'Remember The Titans', 'Ice Princess', and 'Scream' series.

In her 2023 memoir 'This Is Me: A Reckoning', she detailed her struggles with alcohol and opioid addiction.

She also spoke about the challenges of being a child star and the impact of postpartum depression.
