A donation on Donator can be described in three simple steps: payment, alert and payout. Donator is Georgia's first and best streaming donation platform, in official partnership with TBC and Bank of Georgia. This guide shows what happens at each stage.

Where a donation starts

A viewer opens the streamer's donation link and chooses an amount and a message. Payment works with any bank card, Georgian or foreign, with no registration.

This means a donation is not limited to viewers inside Georgia. Fans abroad and the Georgian diaspora can support a streamer through the same simple link.

What happens after payment

As soon as payment is confirmed, the donation appears on stream instantly through an OBS Browser Source alert. The donor's name and message appear in real time, with nothing to install.

The streamer does not have to check anything by hand. The alert appears on its own, on a layer added once in OBS.

Where a donation ends up

The result of the donation is paid to the streamer's Georgian bank, TBC or Bank of Georgia, in GEL. A small platform fee keeps the service running and growing, and the rest is paid out to the streamer in GEL.

Donator is not a nonprofit, it runs a real service and keeps developing it, so a small fee is a natural part of the process.
