Teach live, and let the money arrive on its own

How it works today

A student writes on Facebook, pays by bank transfer, an administrator checks the statement, sends the lecture link by hand, then sends the recording from Drive by hand. Every month again. That is not a technical problem, it is a salary you are paying for administration.

Video calling is cheap and everyone already has it. The expensive part starts after the video: who paid, who gets the link, whose month lapsed, who may have the recording. Donator does that part automatically.

Setting a course up takes one screen

Signing up lands you straight on it. Three fields, one save, and the link is ready to send. There is no manual to read.

   A price per lecture, a price per month, or both. The monthly one also opens the recording archive.

   The time of the next lecture. Everyone who pressed follow on your page gets a reminder an hour before.

The same screen shows the student's view beside the form as you type, and hands you the link you send to the group.

What the platform does

• A card payment opens the lecture

  The lecture has a price in GEL. The student pays by card and the video opens as soon as the payment is confirmed. Nobody checks a bank statement and nobody sends a link by hand.

• One payment for the whole course

  The student pays the course price once and the whole course opens: the live lectures and the recording archive, with no per-lesson payment.

• Recordings stay closed

  Every lecture is recorded automatically. If the lecture was paid, the file sits in private storage and opens only for someone with an active subscription. A free lecture's recording is as open as the lecture itself was.

• One account, several instructors

  The centre creates an organization and adds instructors. Each instructor keeps their own page, their own course and their own stats. When you create the centre you choose whether the money collects on the centre's account or each instructor is paid separately.

• Scheduled lectures and reminders

  Set the time in advance. Everyone who pressed follow on your page gets an automatic reminder about an hour before it starts.

• Moderated chat

  The question chat has slow mode, message deletion, user bans and pinned messages.

Price

There is no per-seat fee. Two students or several hundred can watch a lecture and the cost does not change. We take a share only when you sell.

Worked example: you price a course at 300 GEL. The student's card is charged exactly 300 GEL, with nothing added on top. On Starter the centre keeps 276.00 GEL (our 24.00); on Centre it keeps 291.00 GEL. Card acquiring costs are inside that.

You can change package at any time and it only affects future payments. On Centre and Network we prepare the invoice and the written contract.

We are a new platform

The list of Georgian centres that belongs here is still empty, and we are not going to invent quotes to fill it. Only the audience is new, though: the same infrastructure already runs Donator's live streams and card payments. And what being early does buy you is written below; it will not be on offer later.

Common questions

What does it cost to start?

Nothing. Starter is free and has no fixed fee. If you sell nothing this month, your bill is zero.

When do I get the money?

The student pays with a Georgian card and the amount appears on your balance right away. Withdrawal to your bank opens after 7 days: that window exists for card disputes and applies to every payment equally. Nobody checks a statement by hand any more.

What do I need in order to go live?

A computer or a phone with a camera. You go live straight from the browser with nothing to install. If you already use OBS, that works too.

Is setting a course up complicated?

It is three fields on one screen: name, price and time. Save, and you get the link you send to your group. That is the whole thing.

What about invoices and tax?

On Centre and Network we prepare the invoice and the written contract. Declaring your own income stays with your legal entity; we give you the statement.

Do you have a gradebook and tests?

There is no gradebook, no grades and no assignments. Attendance, though, is tracked automatically: you can see who attended which lecture. This is a tool for running a lecture and charging for it. If you need full course management, we are not that, and we would rather say so now.

Can students join with their camera?

No. Student cameras and microphones do not turn on; questions come through chat, where you have slow mode and moderation. This is a lecture format, not a seminar.

Can I sell in instalments?

Not yet. A course is sold as a single one-time payment: the student pays the full price when enrolling and the course opens right away.

What if the stream drops mid-lecture?

The connection re-establishes on its own and the lecture continues on the same link. The recording is kept regardless, so anyone who missed a stretch finds it in the archive. If a lecture could not be held at all, you refund the student and we write off our share of it too.

How do refunds work?

You decide, we execute: tell us which payment and the amount goes back to the card, and the same payment comes off your balance. A student who disputes a charge also has their bank, which is exactly why there is a hold before withdrawal.

Who can reach my recordings?

They sit in private storage and the page opens them only for someone with an active subscription. The video link itself is issued fresh and short-lived each time, so a forwarded link stops working quickly.

What if I do not like it?

Change or stop your package whenever you want. There is no lock-in and no penalty.
