What this is

Google Skills labs run inside a real Google Cloud project and issue a skill badge on completion. The free Starter tier grants 35 lab credits per month, which in practice is one badge.

The period of unlimited free labs has ended and credits can no longer be bought separately. So this needs a plan: pick one specific badge and fit it inside a month's credits.

How to get it

  1. 1Open Google and create a free account. No card is asked for at any point.
  2. 2Work through the material, ~8 h in total. It is self-paced, so the time is yours to spread.
  3. 3Complete every module. The document is issued on completion, not on an exam result.
  4. 4Claim the badge and attach it to your LinkedIn profile, with the verification link.

What to watch for
