Privacy Policy

Donator.Ge is owned and operated by FinTech Caucasus, which is the data controller.

This site is something you read: a remote job board, free courses, a directory of free certificates, trend articles, cheap flight pages and game reviews. No account is needed to read any of it. We show advertising (Adsterra), we measure traffic (Google Analytics), and some links are affiliate links. Advertising is shown from the first visit in every country, as set out in the Terms. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland Google Analytics stores no cookies.

If you create an account we store your email address, display name and username. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication.

If you subscribe to job alerts we store your email address and the filters you chose, so we can send you matching vacancies. That address is used for those emails only and is never sold. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.

We use your IP address to open the site in your language, to defend against automated abuse and to rate-limit requests. For an account holder we store the last IP address and the time of last activity, which our internal admin panel displays.

For security we keep an activity log: sign-in, sign-out, registration and profile changes, each with an IP address and a timestamp. Only administrators can read it, and it is disclosed to law enforcement only on a lawful request.

• •Adsterra. Display and native advertising, inside the page. The scripts load from Adsterra's servers and may store cookies so that the same advert is not shown to you too often. It loads on the first visit in every country (see section 6 of the Terms).
• •TOP.GE counter (cookie _sp_id). The Georgian site ranking, built on Snowplow.
• •donator-lang. The language you picked. Necessary for the site to work.
• •Firebase local storage entries. Your sign-in session. Necessary for the site to work.

You can block advertising cookies in your browser settings (third-party cookies) or with an ad blocker.

Some blocks and links are affiliate placements and are labelled Sponsored. If you follow one and buy something we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Today these are the fares in the flights section, which link out through Travelpayouts (Aviasales).

When you follow such a link the partner receives what any website receives from a browser: your IP address, device and browser details, and the page you came from. We do not share your email address or account details with them.

Data is held in the European Union, in the Amsterdam region (Oracle Cloud), and on Google infrastructure for authentication. Vacancy and article content is public and contains no personal data.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or for its deletion, at info@donator.ge. Deletion does not extend to records we are required by law to keep.

The streaming and donation service has been discontinued and no new data is collected for it. Older records that law or accounting rules require us to keep are held until that period ends and are then destroyed.
