Absentees on Both Sides

Cagliari are without Mina, described by OneFootball as suffering calf fatigue, along with Idrissi and Trepy.

Inter's only reported absentee is Spence. La Gazzetta dello Sport wrote ahead of the game that the defender had yet to train with his team-mates at the club's Pinetina base, working separately to regain fitness after missing all of pre-season because of the World Cup and holidays.
