What this is
Part one covers syntax and data types; part two moves to functions, modules, exceptions and the object-oriented section. The material follows OpenEDG's official syllabus.
That syllabus is what makes the course practically useful: PCEP and PCAP are paid exams, but their programme is the same one, so the free course is direct preparation for the paid certification should you ever decide to take it.
Who it is for
Beginners who want structured Python and would rather hold a vendor badge than a marketplace paper.
How to get it
- 1Open Cisco Networking Academy and create a free account. No card is asked for at any point.
- 2Work through the material, ~60 h in total. It is self-paced, so the time is yours to spread.
- 3Complete every module. The document is issued on completion, not on an exam result.
- 4Claim the badge and attach it to your LinkedIn profile, with the verification link.
