What this is
Scrum Fundamentals Certified covers roles, artefacts and ceremonies: sprint, backlog, daily, review, retrospective. The exam is short and taken online.
The real industry standard is Scrum.org's PSM I, which is paid. SFC is a free step on the way there rather than a substitute, which is why our list marks it as a weak signal.

- 2Work through the material, ~5 h in total. It is self-paced, so the time is yours to spread.
- 3Pass the graded exam. This is the part that is normally paid elsewhere, and it is the reason this row is in the directory.
- 4Download the certificate as a PDF and keep the verification link, which is what an employer actually checks.

This is not PSM I. If you are applying for a Scrum Master role, you will still need the paid exam.
