What this is

AttackIQ Academy teaches you to think in the attacker's logic and to test your own defences against it. The courses are short, each with its own certificate, and are tied directly to MITRE ATT&CK techniques.

ATT&CK is the shared language of SOC vacancies today: it is the terminology employers write their requirements in. That makes these certificates read more specifically than a generic cyber security course.

Who it is for

Anyone who already knows the basics and is heading towards SOC or threat detection work.

How to get it

  1. 1Open AttackIQ and create a free account. No card is asked for at any point.
  2. 2Work through the material, ~10 h in total. It is self-paced, so the time is yours to spread.
  3. 3Complete every module. The document is issued on completion, not on an exam result.
  4. 4Download the certificate as a PDF and keep the verification link, which is what an employer actually checks.
