What this is
CS50x is a full university semester: C, Python, SQL, JavaScript, algorithms, memory, and a final project of your own. The certificate requires all nine problem sets plus that project, so it is not an attendance paper.
There are two different documents here and confusing them is the most common mistake: the edX verified certificate is a paid product, while Harvard CS50's own certificate is generated for free on cs50.harvard.edu. Same course, and only the first one costs money.

- 2Work through the material, ~100 h in total.
- 3Complete every module. There is no exam.
- 4Download the PDF and keep the verification link.

What to watch for
The 100 hours are optimistic if you have never programmed. Every assignment must be passed; skipping one means no certificate.
