What this is
Four hours and one specific subject: how a cluster works, what pod states mean and how to read the metrics. The exercises run in Datadog's learning environment, so no cluster of your own is needed.
This is not a standalone qualification and it is not an exam. What it does on a DevOps-facing CV is show that you have already touched a monitoring tool, which is rare at junior level.
Who it is for
Anyone heading towards DevOps who has one evening and wants a concrete step.
How to get it
- 1Open Datadog and create a free account. No card is asked for at any point.
- 2Work through the material, ~4 h in total. It is self-paced, so the time is yours to spread.
- 3Complete every module. The document is issued on completion, not on an exam result.
- 4Claim the badge and attach it to your LinkedIn profile, with the verification link.
