MDCAT 2026 Conducted for 138,158 Candidates Across Pakistan and Saudi Arabia

Examination Details

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) reported that the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 was successfully conducted for 138,158 registered candidates across Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The test was administered at 34 examination centres in 34 cities and towns within Pakistan, as well as an international centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Candidate Distribution

Candidates were registered from various provinces: Punjab (49,199), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (38,841), Sindh (34,233), Balochistan (9,923), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (2,761), Gilgit-Baltistan (1,721), and the federal capital (1,245).

Review and Post-Hoc Analysis

PMDC President Prof Dr Rizwan Taj visited examination centres at Air University and Shah­eed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZA­BMU) to review arrangements and observe the conduct of the examination.

After the test, a post-hoc analysis will be conducted to review the overall examination process.
