What this is
The Water Technology programme covers water treatment, wastewater processing, process automation and measurement technology. All nine modules sit on the Festo LX platform and a certificate is issued on completion.
Festo is an industrial automation vendor and its paid certification is a separate line. This programme is free and covers a narrow, specific field, which is directly useful in the water and environmental sectors.
Who it is for
Process engineers and specialists in water supply or the environmental sector.
How to get it
- 1Open Festo and create a free account. No card is asked for at any point.
- 2Work through the material, ~12 h in total. It is self-paced, so the time is yours to spread.
- 3Complete every module. The document is issued on completion, not on an exam result.
- 4Download the certificate as a PDF and keep the verification link, which is what an employer actually checks.
