What this is

The IFRC Learning Platform covers first aid, psychosocial support, disaster law, volunteer management and climate adaptation. Most courses take one or two hours.

An important distinction: this is a knowledge certificate, not a first aid provider qualification. Practical authority in Georgia requires a local, hands-on course.

Who it is for

Volunteers, NGO staff and anyone trying to enter the humanitarian sector.

How to get it

  1. 1Open IFRC (Red Cross) and create a free account. No card is asked for at any point.
  2. 2Work through the material, ~6 h in total. It is self-paced, so the time is yours to spread.
  3. 3Complete every module. The document is issued on completion, not on an exam result.
  4. 4Download the certificate as a PDF and keep the verification link, which is what an employer actually checks.

From Georgia

Open from Georgia and free.

What to watch for

This is not a practical first aid licence and does not replace one.

Where this helps

Live remote vacancies in the same direction. You apply on the employer's own site; the board itself is written in Georgian.
