49 Primary Schools to Get New Principals in 2027
Forty-nine primary schools in Singapore will have new leadership as part of the Ministry of Education's annual appointment and rotation exercise.

Appointment Details
The Ministry of Education (MOE) announced that 49 schools will have new principals in 2027 as part of its annual reshuffle. Among them, 13 are newly appointed principals, while the other 36 are taking on new appointments.
These new appointments include one junior college, 15 secondary schools, and 33 primary schools.
New Principals and Their Backgrounds
The newly appointed principals will take charge of various schools. For example, Shawn Lim Chee Koon, currently the principal of St Gabriel’s Secondary School, will become the principal of Nanyang Junior College. Timothy Tay Soon Inn, the vice-principal of Presbyterian High School, will lead Anderson Secondary School.
Seven first-time principals will also lead primary schools, including Patricia Lim Wai Ping, who previously served as a deputy director at the MOE’s Communications & Engagement Group, and will now head Lianhua Primary School.
