Role Title: Physics Professor/Researcher (PhD) Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Physics Professors and Researchers (PhD) to support a customer's innovative project at the intersection of physics, research, and education. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required - your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work
* Develop and review physics problems, solutions, and explanatory content across a broad range of sub-disciplines.
* Analyze and evaluate model outputs for scientific validity, clarity, and educational value.
* Contribute high-level feedback on complex research topics and theoretical concepts.
* Assess and refine AI-generated explanations for accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
* Collaborate remotely with project leads and fellow experts to standardize best practices in content review.
* Produce clear, concise written feedback and participate in asynchronous discussions regarding project advancements.
* Leverage your teaching and research experience to ensure authenticity and rigor in all deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
* PhD in Physics (or currently pursuing a PhD in Physics with advanced research and teaching experience).
* Demonstrated expertise in both theoretical and applied physics domains.
* Strong track record of teaching, curriculum development, or mentoring in academic settings.
* Experience publishing and critically reviewing scientific research.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen eye for detail and clarity.
* Prior involvement with interdisciplinary projects or educational technology initiatives is a plus.
* Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
