Role Title: Civil Rights Attorney Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Civil Rights Attorneys to contribute to an impactful project for a customer focused on advancing technology and legal understanding. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required - your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work
* Review, analyze, and annotate legal documents and case studies related to civil rights law.
* Develop detailed explanations of legal concepts, statutes, and precedents within the civil rights domain.
* Draft and refine realistic scenarios, queries, and responses to help simulate authentic civil rights legal situations.
* Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, legal soundness, and ethical compliance, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
* Research and summarize emerging trends, case law updates, and policy developments impacting civil rights.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders and tech professionals through clear written and verbal communication channels.
* Ensure that all contributions meet high standards of accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
Preferred Qualifications
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active bar membership in the United States.
* Substantial experience practicing in civil rights law, including litigation or policy analysis.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying complex legal ideas to diverse audiences.
* Familiarity with landmark civil rights cases, federal and state statutes, and regulatory frameworks.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex legal information and present it in accessible formats.
* Interest in technology, artificial intelligence, and innovative approaches to legal problem-solving is a plus.
