The employer's description

Welo Life Sciences, a Welo Global brand, is a specialized language and technology partner serving pharmaceutical, CRO, and medical device organizations operating in regulated global markets. We deliver regulator-ready translation, linguistic validation, and localization solutions that support clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, labeling, and global commercialization.

We are expanding its non-Linguistic Quality Control (QC) team to support some of the world's leading pharmaceutical and CRO clients, and we're looking for detail-obsessed QC specialists who take real pride in catching what others miss. If you love the precision of quality control and want your work to matter in an industry where accuracy genuinely impacts patient safety, this is your opportunity to join a high-visibility program with steady, daily volume and long-term growth potential.

What you'll do

* Perform Quality Control of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.

* Ideal candidate brings experience with clinical/regulatory documents (medical reports, protocols, synopses, ICF, discharge and study reports, SmPC, PIL, medical literature, linguistic validation) or pharmacovigilance documents (SAE/AE, PSURs, SUSARs, ICSRs, DSUR, RMP)

* Use CAT tools (XTM preferred) and run QC checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.

* Validate formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and adherence to instructions.

* Support processing of non-editable/handwritten sources and perform formatting QC after conversion.

* Self-assign work according to availability via Open Offers and meet urgent TATs (typically 12-24 hours).

* Handle high volume split across multiple small files; document and report discrepancies.

* Cross-collaboration with PMs and escalate risks promptly.

Requirements

* Mandatory experience with CAT tools: XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase or others.

* Experience with QA checks: Xbench, Verifika, or CAT-integrated QA.

* Experience with Track Changes function in Word.

* Minimum 6 months as a Language QA specialist in localization.

* Advanced English level, min. C1

* Availability of 4-5 hours per day; willing to work weekends and bank holidays.

* Able to meet urgent TATs (12-24 hours) and manage many small files.

* Willing to complete the QC test and follow staged onboarding.

* Prior experience with a similar QC role at an LSP is a strong plus.

Nice to have

* Flexibility and willingness to work occasional weekends and bank holidays.
