We are looking for a European Transport Manager to join our team and manage all transport operations for freight and parcel deliveries across the UK and Europe. What is a day in the life of a Transport Manager?

* Manage all transport operations for freight and parcel deliveries, including marketplace and DTC carriers.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.

* Monitor and analyse carrier performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.

* Oversee budgeting and cost management for transport operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.

* Ensure compliance with international customs requirements across a diverse range of product types.

* Utilize a deep understanding of European road freight networks and practices to optimise logistics strategies.

* +5 years and proven experience in transport management, with a focus on international logistics.

* In-depth knowledge of UK and European road freight networks.

* Excellent knowledge of UK and European customs regulations and process.

* Strong analytical skills with a track record of managing and refining logistics networks.

* Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
