La description de l'entreprise

About Nebius:

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.

Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.

The Infrastructure Acquisition Group The Infrastructure Acquisition Group secures the land, power, and data center capacity that enables the Nebius AI Cloud. We identify where Nebius should grow next, structure the commercial agreements that make that growth possible, and partner across engineering, energy, finance, legal, and development to bring new AI infrastructure online. We're a small, founding team building this function from the ground up across the Americas, leading the acquisition of colocation, build-to-suit, powered land, and other strategic infrastructure opportunities as one of the world's fastest-growing AI cloud platforms scales. Examples of Problems We're Solving Support technical feasibility reviews across mechanical and electrical scope. You'll help gather data, run capacity calculations, and prepare technical analysis that informs Go / No-Go decisions before deals close. Keep technical evaluations moving day-to-day. Support senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and the Development team by tracking action items, coordinating data requests, and preparing materials as sites and deals progress. Help build a repeatable technical evaluation program. Support the documentation of standards, checklists, and templates for mechanical and electrical review as the function matures. About the Role As an MEP Engineer, you'll support the technical evaluation of AI infrastructure opportunities across both mechanical and electrical disciplines, working alongside senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineers within the Infrastructure Acquisition Group. This is a hands-on role suited to someone early-to-mid in their data center career who wants broad exposure across both disciplines rather than specializing in one. This is a build-phase role on a build-phase team. Many of the technical evaluation standards, design criteria, and readiness gates the team uses are still being written. You'll help execute against them day to day, gaining hands-on exposure across mechanical and electrical evaluation as you grow, with support from senior engineers on the team. What You'll Own

* Support mechanical and electrical due diligence on prospective sites, colocation capacity, and build-to-suit opportunities under the direction of senior engineers.

* Prepare capacity calculations, equipment comparisons, and technical summaries that feed the pre-construction risk register.

* Help evaluate cooling and power distribution options against site conditions and load requirements.

* Assist in preparing Go / No-Go technical materials as projects advance through key development milestones.

* Support handoff of technically validated mechanical and electrical scope to the Delivery organization.

Technical Due Diligence & Feasibility

* Support mechanical and electrical due diligence on prospective sites, existing facilities, and colocation capacity under evaluation.

* Help evaluate cooling capacity, power distribution capacity, and equipment options against projected IT load.

* Track mechanical and electrical equipment availability, lead times, and vendor constraints that could affect schedule or capex.

* Help ensure mechanical and electrical assumptions are reflected in project budgets, capacity models, and schedules.

Design & Equipment Coordination

* Support Engineering in evaluating cooling topology and power distribution options for each site or deal structure.

* Help track BMS/EPMS controls integration and commissioning requirements as they arise.

* Assist with equipment comparisons and capex trade-off analysis across mechanical and electrical scope.

* Help maintain design intent documentation as deals move from negotiation into development.

Construction Readiness

* Support the team in tracking technical readiness criteria across mechanical and electrical scope.

* Help verify design assumptions, equipment specifications, and capacity commitments are documented before turnover to Delivery.

* Flag mechanical and electrical technical risks for senior engineers to resolve before they impact construction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Support senior Mechanical and Electrical Engineers as the technical interface across Site Selection, Technical Due Diligence, Development, Energy, and Delivery.

* Coordinate with consulting engineers and equipment vendors to gather information supporting mechanical and electrical evaluations.

* Help keep internal stakeholders and external consultants aligned as projects move from acquisition into development.

What Success Looks Like

* Build strong technical fundamentals across both mechanical and electrical data center systems.

* Deliver accurate, well-documented technical analysis that senior engineers and Development can rely on.

* Flag mechanical and electrical risks early enough for the team to resolve them before construction.

* Build working relationships with vendors, consulting engineers, and internal partners.

* Grow into a discipline-focused or broader technical role as the Infrastructure Acquisition Group scales.

What You'll Bring

* You're eager to build broad, cross-disciplinary experience early in your career rather than specializing right away, and you're comfortable learning in a fast-moving, still-forming team.

* 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, MEP design, or mission-critical systems, with exposure to both disciplines preferred.

* Working knowledge of cooling systems (chillers, CRAH/CRAC, liquid cooling) and/or power distribution systems (switchgear, UPS, generators) for data center or mission-critical environments.

* Comfortable with capacity calculations, equipment comparisons, and technical documentation.

* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with senior engineers and cross-functional partners.

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Exposure to hyperscale data center or AI infrastructure projects.

* Familiarity with BMS or EPMS controls platforms.

* Exposure to commissioning processes (Cx, IST) in a mechanical or electrical capacity.

* Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or progress toward PE licensure.

Why Join Nebius The infrastructure supporting AI is being built now.
