The four-skill version is more convincing to an employer, because writing and speaking are the two skills workplace communication actually runs on. The result is again on the CEFR scale.
One practical detail matters: the certification test can be taken once every 90 days. So if you are choosing between the versions, take this one directly rather than spending the window on the short test.
