Edify serves low-fee independent Christ-centered schools through three primary avenues: loans, training, and education technology. Learn more at Location: Remote Start Date: October 1, 2026 Reports To: VP for Christ-Centered Education Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and education and competitive with other nonprofits Position Summary: Edify promotes holistic and high-quality Christ-centered education in partnership with low-fee independent Christ-centered schools. The Global Curriculum and Assessment Lead is a full-time position that will thrive in a challenging, innovative, and empowering mission-focused work environment. This role is responsible for maintaining high-quality of Edify ’s training curricula and delivery of assessments across Edify ’s teacher and facilitator training programmes, supporting multiple countries, cohorts, and academic terms simultaneously. The role will oversee the quality development and delivery of Edify training content/curriculum and coordinate the end-to-end assessment cycle, including assessment operations and programme delivery, TalentLMS management, marking and moderation, AI-assisted grading workflows, and quality assurance. This role will also work closely with the Online Learning Managers in Latin America, East Africa, and West Africa, as well as Edify consultants supporting the marking of assessments for key Edify trainings. Moreover, the Global Curriculum and Assessment Lead will support the work of the Christ-Centered Education (CCE) Regional Leads to ensure consistent quality training development and delivery across all CCE trainings. Work Environment: This position will be full-time based in the location of employee’s choice, reporting to the VP for Christ-Centered Education. The atmosphere of Edify is one where you can expect to perform widely varied tasks related to the role. Travel Expectation: The position requires the ability to travel globally as needed, with occasional travel being possible in order to support Edify ’s ongoing training work . In addition to role-based travel, Edify holds an annual all-staff meeting, alternating in a US-based or international location each year. Travel would be required to attend this meeting. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Assessment Programs Leadership
* Lead the end-to-end assessment process for teacher and facilitator programs (e.g., EoMs and Practical Implementation for the International Diploma in Education) across multiple countries, cohorts, and academic terms.
* Plan and coordinate concurrent assessment cycles, ensuring assessments are delivered consistently and on time.
* Lead the ongoing development of Edify 's assessment strategy and training
* Support regional managers as they secure partnerships with local universities for the accreditation of the iDE (specifically the adaptation of the assessments and content required for these accreditations).
* Build strong working relationships across in-country and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on assessment priorities, timelines, and challenges.
* Provide regular updates to senior Edify staff on progress, risks, and emerging priorities.
2. Operational Leadership 2.1. Systems and LMS Administration
* Set up and maintain assessment modules and learner records in TalentLMS, Salesforce and on the Drive.
* Upload and verify assessment results in TalentLMS and Salesforce.
* Develop systems, processes, and local capability to enable routine LMS administration to be delegated to a dedicated operational support as the programme scales.
* Develop quality control and consistency standards across multiple online training programs so that Edify online courses follow an equally high standard across regions.
2.2 Data Quality and Assessment Operations
* Export, validate, and maintain assessment data, ensuring learner and submission records are complete and accurate before marking begins.
* Lead the identification and resolution of data quality issues and operational bottlenecks.
* Establish data quality standards and quality assurance processes that enable routine data management to be undertaken by dedicated operational support while maintaining central oversight.
2.3 Governance, Risk, and Continuous Improvement
* Lead the identification and resolution of operational risks in collaboration with programme, technical, and country teams.
* Maintain clear documentation, processes, and reporting to support consistent assessment delivery at scale.
* Develop frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures that support consistent assessment and curriculum delivery and enable greater operational ownership by local teams as the programme grows
3. Assessment Quality and AI Grading Innovation
* Lead the development and refinement of assessment rubrics and assessment design.
* Determine the most appropriate marking approach for each assessment, balancing AI-assisted and human marking.
* Lead AI grading implementation, testing, moderation, and continuous improvement.
* Develop moderation frameworks and quality assurance processes and guidance for markers.
* Analyse assessment outcomes to identify misconceptions and improve assessments.
* Lead the ongoing development of EoMs, "Are You Ready?" assessments, and the assessment question bank for the International Diploma of Education.
4. Marking, Moderation and Capacity Building
* Lead teams of markers across countries and cohorts working alongside AI grading systems.
* Recruit, train, onboard, and support new markers.
* Coordinate marking workloads and moderation activities.
* Conduct pre- and post-marking moderation.
* Develop training materials and guidance for marking, including online asynchronous training on the LMS.
* Support Online Training Managers in three regions.
5. Continuous Improvement and Learning Analytics
* Analyse assessment and learner data across cohorts and countries to identify trends and misconceptions.
* Use assessment findings to improve learning materials and training, rubrics, facilitator guidance, and implementation tasks.
* Develop model examples and learning resources based on assessment evidence.
* Improve assessment systems using learner and coordinator feedback.
6. Types of Assessments The role supports a variety of assessment formats in the sphere of teacher pedagogical training, including:
* Written reflections and reports
* Matched submissions across multiple tasks
* Photos and image-based evidence
* Videos and transcript-based assessments
* Observation reports
* Meeting reports and reflective activities
* School implementation evidence and documentation
7. Curriculum Quality Assurance
* Define and revise standards for quality online curriculum and training delivery.
* Revise Edify online training curricula based on global standards for quality curriculum and training development and delivery.
* Use data to inform decisions to improve online programming and training across Edify ’s training, in collaboration with the CCE Regional Leads in each region.
8. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience and Education Required:
* Degree in Education or a related field, graduate degree highly encouraged
