micro1 is seeking Adolescent/Child Safeguarding & Exploitation Specialists to collaborate on a project aimed at enhancing the assessment of sexual safety and exploitation risks in adolescent scenarios. Your role will involve applying your domain expertise to train advanced AI systems. Your work will significantly influence how these models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world data. Prior experience in AI is not necessary; what we value most is your specialized knowledge.

Scope of Work

- Evaluate intricate adolescent cases to identify sexual safety and exploitation (CSE/CSA) risks. - Develop clear, defensible safeguarding guidance that is accessible to non-specialists. - Employ recognized risk-assessment and safeguarding frameworks to determine the urgency and appropriate interventions. - Detect signs of grooming, coercion, and exploitation within detailed case information. - Suggest protective measures and escalation paths, including scenarios requiring mandatory reporting. - Apply a trauma-informed approach, considering developmental, capacity, and consent factors in your evaluations. - Cross-reference your clinical judgments with peer standards and established protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of your guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Between 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in child safeguarding, adolescent protection, or related clinical roles. - Specialized background in child protection, forensic child/adolescent psychiatry, or pediatric medicine with a focus on safeguarding. - Current or recently held (within the past two years) adolescent caseload or safeguarding practice. - Proven expertise in CSE/CSA risk assessment and mandatory-reporting requirements. - Strong proficiency in trauma-informed practice and documentation. - Excellent written communication skills in research-grade English (native, or IELTS 7.5+/writing 7.0+, TOEFL 100+, Cambridge C1-C2, or equivalent). - Previous experience in a designated safeguarding or expert-witness role, and familiarity with ACEs and trauma frameworks, is desirable.
