micro1 is seeking Psychologists to collaborate on a project bridging the gap between psychology and technology for a key client. As a Contractor, you will leverage your specialized knowledge to help develop AI systems that learn and reason through real-world data. No prior AI experience is necessary; your expertise in child development or related fields is what we are looking for. This role is ideal for those with a background in research or academic work in child development, regardless of whether you have direct clinical experience.

Scope of Work

- Assess and refine data sets pertinent to child development and psychology for training AI systems. - Offer detailed critiques on the accuracy, cultural relevance, and developmental significance of data and model outputs. - Contribute specialized analysis to the creation of scenarios, test cases, and real-world applications involving children’s learning and behavior. - Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to guide model enhancements and maintain psychological accuracy in AI interactions. - Develop or update guidelines for AI systems to better address linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial factors in child development across various cultural backgrounds. - Present findings and recommendations clearly and thoroughly to support continuous AI research and development.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hold a Doctorate (PhD) in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related discipline. - Have experience in technology-driven, digital, or AI-related projects relevant to child development. - Be adept at working remotely on digital platforms, contributing independently while interacting with a distributed team. - We are giving preference to candidates proficient in one or more of these languages: Japanese, French, Tagalog, Malay, Lithuanian, Russian, Georgian, Polish, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Vietnamese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Turkish, Gujarati, Bulgarian.
