No prior experience in AI is necessary—what matters is your domain expertise. This engagement will focus on planning and executing a targeted technology initiative, working closely with an external vendor, and communicating project updates to a variety of stakeholders. The task requires adept team coordination, hands-on vendor management, and clear reporting over a multi-quarter period.

Scope of Work

- Create detailed project plans for focused technology initiatives, detailing timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation. - Oversee and manage activities with external vendors, ensuring that vendor outputs meet agreed-upon service-level agreements. - Mentor and support project participants, promoting effective teamwork and conflict resolution to keep the project on schedule. - Track project progress, promptly identifying potential risks and facilitating timely decision-making. - Provide clear, actionable reports on project status, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders, both in writing and verbally. - Maintain high-quality standards throughout all project phases, ensuring that objectives are achieved within scope and constraints. - Offer practical insights and feedback to enhance AI models trained on technology management scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications

- At least 6 years of experience leading multi-quarter technology initiatives with full-cycle ownership, including planning, vendor coordination, and results delivery. - Proven experience in team management, cross-functional leadership, and conflict resolution in complex projects. - A track record of successful vendor management and negotiation, especially with external technology providers. - A solid understanding of establishing, monitoring, and enforcing service-level agreements and reporting on vendor performance. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience in developing clear, actionable project documentation and executive-level reports. - A history of contributing to or leading projects where insights led to process improvements or technology adoption decisions.
