Role Title: Corporate Counsel Job Type: Contractor Location: Remote Job Summary: We are looking for experienced in-house Corporate Counsels for a part-time position at the leading edge of legal AI. This role is ideal for top-tier lawyers who wish to contribute to the development of AI in legal practice, particularly for those with extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and editing contracts within the tech sector. In this role, you will examine, evaluate, and participate in contract redlining procedures essential for training and assessing cutting-edge AI models. Your contributions will enhance the accuracy and legal discernment of these systems as they analyze and interpret contractual language. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct simulated contract negotiation and redlining drills. - Examine and provide feedback on AI-generated contract responses to enhance model efficiency and output accuracy. - Develop robust evaluation standards and scoring criteria to rigorously assess AI performance in contract handling. - Work closely with product and research teams to optimize data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school. - Current bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. - At least 3 years of in-house experience concentrating on technology transactions, especially MSA, NDA, and DPA negotiations. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to articulate legal insights into practical AI guidance. - A proactive stance on innovation at the crossroads of law and technology. - Previous experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in dynamic settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Background in AI, legal technology, or related training programs. - Experience at a corporate law firm, particularly in M&A or fund formation for private equity firms.
