Role Title: Adolescent Eating Disorder Specialist (Contractor) Location: Remote

micro1 is seeking Adolescent Eating Disorder Specialists to join a project for a client focused on complex cases involving adolescents with eating disorders. Your role will involve training advanced AI systems through your expertise. No prior experience in AI is necessary; what we need is your specialized knowledge in the field.

Scope of Work

- Evaluate and analyze adolescent eating disorder cases, providing comprehensive written assessments of clinical and medical risks. - Utilize DSM-5 criteria and validated screening tools, such as the EDE-Q and SCOFF, to accurately categorize patient presentations. - Assess medical stability and identify urgent cases requiring immediate attention using recognized frameworks like MEED. - Determine the appropriateness of various treatment approaches, like FBT and CBT-E, based on the adolescent’s clinical stage. - Identify comorbidities and safeguarding issues that could affect the severity or required interventions. - Develop clear, practical guidance for non-specialists, ensuring it is rooted in current clinical standards and guidelines. - Compare clinical assessments with those of peers and established guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

- At least 3 to 5 years of direct clinical experience working with adolescents. - A background as an eating disorder specialist, child or adolescent psychiatrist, or psychologist with a focus on adolescent care and eating disorders. - An active and in-good-standing clinical license or registration. - Recent experience managing an adolescent caseload or active practice within the last two years. - Proficiency in evidence-based assessment tools (DSM-5, EDE-Q, SCOFF) and diagnostic frameworks. - Familiarity with medical risk assessment procedures (e.g., MEED) and therapeutic interventions such as FBT or CBT-E. - Superior written communication skills, equivalent to native English or a score of 7.5+ in IELTS (writing 7.0+), TOEFL 100+, or Cambridge C1-C2. - Optional: Experience in adolescent medical stabilization, FBT or CBT-E training, or expertise in co-occurring conditions like self-harm or anxiety.

Timeline and Availability
