Responsibilities

- Execute thorough internal control assessments to pinpoint risks and suggest enhancements. - Assist in regulatory reviews and efficiently respond to external audit questions. - Oversee internal control issues and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of identified issues. - Utilize and maintain Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems, with preference given to those with experience with AuditBoard. - Engage across departments to promote a robust risk and control culture. - Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal control procedures and documentation.

Requirements

- At least six years of professional experience in internal auditing or internal control. - Extensive knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, with a thorough understanding of both business and IT controls. - Relevant experience in the crypto, fintech, or related financial sectors is highly advantageous. - Background in large public organizations (such as those listed on US or UK stock exchanges) or high-growth startups preparing for public listing is beneficial. - Experience in external audits is a plus. - Preferred qualifications include CPA, CIA, or CISA certifications. - Practical experience with GRC systems; familiarity with AuditBoard is advantageous. - Excellent communication abilities; multilingual candidates will be considered favorably. - Capable of operating effectively in cross-departmental teams without requiring frequent travel.
