Overview:

In the role of an audio/video interpreter for Georgian within Language Services Associates' network of independently contracted interpreters, your primary responsibility will be to handle audio and video calls on demand, ensuring effective communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across diverse settings. Language Services Associates is always open to welcoming qualified interpreters.

Responsibilities:

- Offer efficient audio and video interpreting via a web-based platform - Respond promptly to incoming calls - Deliver exceptional customer service - Comply with the Code of Professional Conduct, ensuring strict confidentiality - Follow all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation guidelines and industry-specific best practices

Qualifications/Experience:

- Complete fluency in both English and Georgian - Proficiency in technology (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word) - A dedicated and quiet workspace free from external disturbances - At least one year of professional interpreting experience is desired - Relevant certifications or training (such as CMI, CCHI) are advantageous
