micro1 is seeking M&A Attorneys from top US law firms to collaborate on an innovative customer project. Your role will involve applying your M&A expertise to train advanced AI systems. This opportunity will allow you to influence how AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world data. No prior AI experience is necessary; your deep legal knowledge is key.

Scope of Work

- Offer specialized analysis and labeling of complex M&A and corporate law cases for AI training. - Perform thorough legal research on M&A, private equity transactions, and related litigation. - Examine, provide feedback on, and improve datasets to ensure legal accuracy and practical relevance. - Work with cross-functional teams to interpret materials and clarify legal complexities. - Contribute written analyses on legal reasoning, transactional structures, and contractual agreements. - Participate in remote project conferences and assist in ongoing quality assurance. - Assist in the creation of assessment criteria and best practices as needed by internal partners.

Preferred Qualifications

- A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited US law school and current US bar membership. - Background in M&A law at a leading US law firm, preferably in the Am Law 100. - Significant experience in M&A and private equity transactions, along with corporate advisory work. - Experience with legal disputes, especially in M&A or transactional areas. - Ability to work effectively across disciplines and articulate complex legal ideas clearly. - Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and reviewing transactional documents. - Comfort with remote work and a commitment to producing precise, high-quality work.
