Scope of Work

- Evaluate and summarize data from public documents, reports, and extensive texts to highlight essential insights. - Perform thorough verification and fact-checking of sources to maintain the accuracy and reliability of all content. - Create well-organized, neutral articles using standard narrative techniques like the lead and inverted pyramid. - Produce concise, clear, and context-rich summaries or full-length articles based on the provided document sets. - Engage in iterative editorial reviews, integrating feedback to improve clarity, structure, and factual accuracy. - Record research methods and citation paths for transparency and reference within the project. - Communicate findings clearly in both written and spoken formats, collaborating with project stakeholders as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- At least 4 years of experience as a reporter or correspondent at a reputable media outlet. - Strong proficiency in document-heavy fields such as investigative journalism, business, or science reporting. - Proven ability to synthesize large amounts of material into engaging, structured narratives. - A demonstrated history of rigorous source validation, fact-checking, and verifiable reporting. - Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics. - Knowledge of journalistic standards for transparency, citations, and public records usage. - Previous experience working remotely with editorial or project teams is a bonus.
