The Client Delivery Team’s Business Analyst is a crucial player, collaborating closely with Practice Leaders, Engagement Managers, and Consulting Partners to provide valuable solutions to Supply Chain Alliance Ltd.'s clients. This role acts as an analytical advisor to Client Delivery leadership, managing analytical projects and transforming complex data into actionable insights that yield tangible results. The responsibilities include understanding client needs, performing in-depth data analysis, organizing client workshops, formulating specific recommendations, implementing new initiatives, and supporting operational launches or turnaround efforts. The analyst will also present findings to clients and execute recommendations alongside the team.

This position reports to the Practice Leader, Client Delivery.

DUTIES INCLUDE

* Collaborate with the client delivery team to gather and analyze requirements using Supply Chain Alliance Ltd.'s methods to craft impactful solutions

* Independently organize and execute analytical projects

* Document client requirements and recommend and implement best practices

* Examine and diagnose the current state, conduct root cause analysis, and pinpoint improvement opportunities

* Present data and information that supports timely decision-making, summarizing findings and recommendations

* Cleanse, integrate, and synthesize data to generate actionable insights

* Produce professional and company-representative reports and related client materials

* Continuously enhance business analysis methods, processes, and templates

* Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders

* Conduct client interviews

* Offer regular updates to key stakeholders, both internal and external

* Identify project/engagement risks, develop mitigation strategies, and inform Engagement Managers/Principals

REQUIREMENTS AND ABILITIES

* In-depth knowledge of the supply chain industry

* Previous experience or exposure to supply chain and logistics assessments, logistics facility design, process optimization, distribution network design, transportation modes, planning and inventory management, supply chain software, third-party logistics, etc.

* Strong analytical skills to derive insights from diverse data sets

* Proficiency with tools such as Excel, ETL, PowerBI, Python, SQL, and AI

* Experience in developing process flows and mapping

* Capability to quickly understand and manage complex business operations

* Critical thinking skills to comprehend, organize, and articulate problems

* Effective problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and propose practical solutions

* Ability to collaborate in a team setting, directly with clients, and with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels

* Thrives in ambiguous and challenging environments with fluctuating demands

* Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments

* Commitment to exceptional client service

* Strong communication skills in English, with French proficiency being advantageous

* Willingness to travel (frequent travel may be required)

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor’s degree

* At least five years of experience in supply chain, operations, and/or consulting

* Supply chain industry experience and accreditations are a plus
