1. As part of Language Services Associates' network, you will handle telephone calls to assist the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in various settings such as medical, legal, and customer service.

What you will do: - Provide effective telephonic remote interpreting - Answer inbound calls promptly - Offer excellent customer service - Follow the Code of Professional Conduct, ensuring confidentiality - Adhere to all policies and procedures, including interpretation protocols and industry best practices - Complete required training and participate in Quality Assurance monitoring

What they are looking for: - Full fluency in both English and the target language - Proficiency in technology, including web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word - Ability to use landline, cellphone, or VoIP - A quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noises - At least 2 years of professional interpreting experience - Industry-specific certifications or trainings (CMI, CCHI, etc.) - Proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training (e.g., Bridging The Gap, Cross-Cultural) preferred
