Fergie and Josh Duhamel Mark Son Axl Jack's 13th Birthday

Singer Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel each marked their son Axl Jack Duhamel's 13th birthday with rare family photographs posted on Instagram, Us magazine reported.

"13. Wow, my teenager," Fergie, 51, wrote on Saturday, August 29, according to Us. "I'm saying that with tears in my eyes as I feel like the world is shifting beneath us."

The singer, a former member of the group the Black Eyed Peas, posted a series of pictures spanning her son's life. Us said the sequence began with her holding Axl Jack as a baby and continued through his recent sports achievements.

"It's so beautiful to watch you grow into the kind, silly, and cool dude you are," she added.

Duhamel, 53, known for the Transformers films, posted older photographs of his own, including one of Axl Jack holding a newborn sibling. "Guess who's a TEENAGER!? Holy crap that went fast," he wrote, per Us. "I couldn't have asked for a more kind, compassionate and thoughtful kid."

The Separation and Divorce

Fergie, whose full name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, and Duhamel welcomed Axl Jack in August 2013. They announced in September 2017 that they were separating after eight years of marriage.

"With absolute love and respect, we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year," they said in a joint statement to Us at the time. Us reported in November 2019 that the pair reached a divorce settlement after two years of negotiating.

Duhamel married Audra Mari, a former Miss World America winner, at Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota, in September 2022. Mari, 32, and Duhamel have two children together: a son aged 2 and a daughter, Rocca de Leon, born in May. Us gives the son's name as Shepherd; E! Online spells it Shepard.

Co-Parenting Arrangements

Duhamel has described the relationship between the two households as cooperative. Speaking on the "Tomi Lahren Is Fearless" podcast in April, he said, "We have a really good relationship, thankfully. She's a good person, she's a good mom."

He added that Fergie and Mari also get along, and said there is "not any sort of hostility between anybody."

In an earlier interview on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show in September 2023, quoted by E! Online, Duhamel said Fergie "only has love for Audra." Fergie told People in 2017 that the two remained "great friends."

A Family Outing

Days before the birthday, on August 26, Duhamel took Axl Jack, Mari and their toddler son to Universal Studios Hollywood, E! Online reported.

In the photograph from the visit, taken by the theme park's globe near the entrance, Axl Jack stands nearly as tall as his father. E! Online, publishing on August 27, described him as 12 at the time.

The sources do not say whether Fergie and Duhamel marked the birthday together, or how the family celebrated beyond the social media posts.
