About Babou Babou gives brand creative teams more production capability. They set the creative direction, we produce everything downstream of it: social cuts, motion graphics, VFX, in-store, and out-of-home. Brands use us to run more campaigns and more channel-specific creative without growing their production org or raising agency spend. We are small and early. You would work directly with the founders, and you are applying to us directly rather than through a staffing agency. About the role Babou's founders need a right hand. We're looking for people that take on and close things out. The job is one loop:

* Fill the funnel, inbound and outbound, so we are never waiting on leads.

* Close the loop on every lead. Nobody goes quiet because we forgot to follow up.

* Onboard new customers and get their templates built and shipped.

* Keep customers successful after launch.

* Run the creative team doing the building: scope, dates, and follow-through.

Whatever is stuck this week is yours. A deal that went quiet, a customer missing a file, an artist running late. You don't escalate it. You pick up the phone that same day. I want to hand you an outcome and then stop thinking about it. "This deal stalled. Get it moving." "Our onboarding is broken. Fix it." "We need a system for this. Come back with one." You work out what the actual problem is, make the calls you can make, flag the ones I have to make, and get the first chunk done before you bring it back to me. This is probably not for you if

* You would rather coordinate work than do it

* You wait for approval on reversible decisions

* You need your responsibilities to stay inside a defined box

* You think AI output is finished work

On AI We are a slop-free startup. AI makes output cheap, it has not made reviewing that output any cheaper. Handing us unfiltered, unreviewed, verbose AI output moves your work onto someone else's desk. That will get you fired. Use AI constantly, to take on more than one person could. Read everything before it leaves your hands. Backgrounds that tend to work Your title matters much less to us than what you actually owned.

* You ran a small agency or studio, where you sold the work and then shipped it

* Former founder

* Early employee at a startup where everyone did everything

* You have already been a founder's right hand

If you have made payroll, chased an unpaid invoice, or sat across from an angry client, say so. Requirements

* 5+ years of work experience, at least 2 of them owning outcomes rather than tasks

* Strong written English (C1+) and comfortable spoken English on a live call

* You decide without full information, and you say so when you got it wrong

* Available 9am to 5pm US Pacific, Monday to Friday. We can flex the start to 8am

* Reliable internet with a backup plan, quality camera and headset, quiet workspace

* Modern laptop with 24GB+ RAM

Compensation and perks

* USD 3,000 to 4,000 per month, paid monthly

* Fully remote

* PTO: 12 days accrued at 1 day per month, increasing to 15 at year 1
