About the Role

ICG is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager/Lead to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our financial data is timely, accurate, and effective, enabling us to make informed business decisions. This involves ensuring the right data is collected, booking it accurately, and reporting it effectively, while also maintaining compliance to avoid delays. This position is full-time and remote-first, with the option to work in Canada, the UK, or the EU.

Things You'll Work On

- Accounting Ownership: You will ensure that our team can close the month within three business days. This includes booking revenue and expenses from various systems, applying inter-company transfer pricing, performing accruals where necessary, and making journal entries. We manage the closure of books across 15 entities globally. - Financial Reporting: You will prepare individual financial reports for each legal entity, as well as consolidated views for operating groups and the entire company. This will involve creating income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other management reports.

- Tax Coordination: As our business operates across Canada, the USA, and the EU, you will support sales tax/VAT calculations, reporting, and filing. You will also coordinate with external tax partners for year-end preparations, corporate filings, and tax optimization projects.

- Automation & Scalable Systems: You will leverage technology and modern tools to automate and enhance processes. Our goal is to automate repetitive tasks without replacing people but to improve efficiency.
