Role Overview This is a pivotal position within our expanding global Finance team, which oversees accounting, control, and legal functions across 18 international entities. You will report to our Director of Accounting and Tax, and be responsible for the operational accounting of multiple entities. You will frequently collaborate with our CFO, Group Controlling Lead, and the managing directors of our portfolio brands.

Responsibilities - Oversee all aspects of accounting, including billing, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, tax, and special analyses. - Maintain general ledger reconciliations with thorough documentation for all balance sheet accounts. - Handle financial reporting, analysis, and commentary, supporting consolidation and monthly group reporting. - Prepare and file annual financial statements and audits, including VAT, sales tax, and GST returns. - Assist the Leadership Team with tax matters and international billing, manage and prepare intercompany transactions. - Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and other service providers. - Contribute to the company's financial management, ensuring all account reconciliations and reporting to relevant parties. - Supervise and optimize the company’s accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.

What You Bring to the Team - At least 3 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite. - Proven experience managing multi-GAAP accounting for a legal entity, such as a German subsidiary. - Strong proficiency with AI tools/LLMs to automate and enhance daily accounting tasks. - A bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience as an accountant. - Prior experience at a SaaS or software company. - Experience with Billing or Revenue Recognition tools like Stripe or Chargebee. - Comprehensive accounting experience (AR, AP, Payroll, GL, tax, audit). - Support for annual audits. - Independent, structured, solution-oriented, and analytical working style. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Strong English communication skills.
