AI Integration & Automation Engineer (m/w/d) Do you want to do more than just run through theoretical use cases with AI-do you want to develop productive solutions that truly drive companies forward? Then you’ve come to the right place. We take a pragmatic approach, validate early, and continuously improve. You’ll develop agent-based AI solutions, integrate LLMs into existing system landscapes, and automate complex business processes across various applications. You’ll work independently, analyze requirements, design AI solutions, and implement them through to production. In doing so, you’ll combine software engineering with AI engineering to ensure that intelligent systems operate reliably, securely, and scalably. Your Responsibilities · Analyzing business requirements and implementing technical solutions · Developing and integrating intelligent automation solutions and AI applications · Integrating LLMs into existing enterprise systems · Developing robust backend and integration components · Connecting existing systems via APIs · Automating business processes using modern workflow and AI platforms · Implementing new AI use cases from concept to production · Ensuring high-performance, stable, and scalable operations What You Bring to the Table · A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification · Experience in software development, ideally in backend development · Experience with Python or a comparable programming language · Knowledge of API design and system integration · Experience with cloud technologies, Docker, and Git · Analytical thinking · Interest in modern AI technologies and process automation · Independent, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to work · Very good German skills and good English skills · Willingness to travel Ideally, you already have practical experience with · Large Language Models (LLMs), such as Claude, OpenAI, GPT, or Gemini · AI agents and agent frameworks · Workflow automation (e.g., n8n, Make, or Power Automate) · Kubernetes or CI/CD · Databases, as well as data modeling and the development of high-performance data pipelines What to Expect · Developing productive AI solutions using the latest LLMs, agent frameworks, and cloud technologies · Ample creative freedom and autonomy-from conception through to production · Direct collaboration with business units and teams-without lengthy coordination loops · Short decision-making paths and a pragmatic approach to work · Challenging AI and digital transformation projects that deliver direct value · A high degree of creative freedom and a great deal of autonomy · Modern technologies in AI, cloud, and software engineering · Flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely Originally posted on Himalayas
