MCP Expert

About the work

You will use what you already know to train the next generation of AI systems. What you produce feeds directly into how models learn, reason and perform, because the input is real-world and high quality. AI experience is not needed. Domain knowledge is the thing that counts.

The job is building Reinforcement Learning Environments that measure how well an AI model handles hard software engineering problems through Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools. A task might be a bug fix, a new feature, a refactor or a performance improvement, and the agent has to find and reason over information pulled from live MCP servers. You will build environments that reproduce reliably, verification that is deterministic, and golden reference solutions, so that both MCP tool use and engineering skill get measured accurately.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Working proficiency in one of C++, Python, JAVA, GoLang, Typescript, or Rust.

* Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures and performance tuning.

* Proven history of tracking down difficult software defects and shipping solutions that stay maintainable.

* Strong experience building features and reworking existing codebases.

* Demonstrated skill at tuning software for speed and scale.

* Excellent writing and speaking, plus close attention to detail.

* History of working well in cross-functional teams, remote ones especially.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior work on large, distributed codebases.

* Some exposure to current AI or machine learning systems, welcome but not required.

* Experience taking part in thorough code reviews and helping shape software best practices.

Compensation Structure

Pay is based on output: each task that meets project specifications is paid. How long a task takes will differ from person to person depending on experience and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply. Experts must submit a minimum of tasks per week.

Start Timeline & Availability
