We are seeking a seasoned Software Backend Engineer to enhance and modernize Binance's infrastructure in Kazakhstan to a new level.
The role involves ensuring that Binance's services in Kazakhstan are dependable, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective. The ideal candidate should possess robust backend development expertise.
Fluency in Kazakh or Russian is essential for effective communication and collaboration with local stakeholders, such as banking entities and government officials.
*100% remote, allowing flexible work from home. This position is initially a 6-month contract. Responsibilities
* Design, create, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java. * Construct a high-performance, reliable, and secure backend system to support BigPay Fiat operations. * Participate fully in the service lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment, operation, and optimization. * Develop and maintain tools, rethinking capacity planning infrastructure for better scalability. * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues, ensuring data security and end-to-end system integrity.
Requirements
* At least 7 years of experience in software development and architecture. * Proficiency in Java and backend frameworks such as Spring Boot and RESTful APIs. * Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and microservices architecture. * In-depth understanding of Linux and network protocols. * Experience in profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing machine learning applications.
*Fluency in English and Kazakh/Russian is required for effective coordination with Kazakhstan-based business partners and stakeholders.

* Experience in developing Java code, ideally with a background in Apache open-source projects. * Expertise in high availability, high performance, and resource optimization.
