About this job
Overview: We are looking for a Rust Engineer to lead our backend architecture and expand into full-stack development. You will be responsible for developing core Rust services and asynchronous systems, and will progressively take on front-end responsibilities with Vue/Angular and AWS Glue data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of production services and APIs using Rust. - Participate in the development of Vue and Angular frontend applications as needed, ensuring a seamless user experience. - Collaborate with the backend to support and interface with our AWS Glue data pipelines, data models, and storage solutions. - Design efficient asynchronous systems, set up comprehensive unit and integration testing, and fine-tune database queries. - Work closely with team members to define and break down end-to-end features, communicate backend decisions effectively, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience. - Demonstrated experience building and deploying backend services in Rust. - Expertise in async programming, API design, data modeling, and testing. - Willingness to contribute to Vue and Angular front-end development in the future. - Fluent in English with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience with UI development using Vue, Angular, or React. - AWS experience, particularly with Glue or ETL/data-pipeline tools.
