What you'll be doing:

* Deploy and monitor various machine learning models;

* Design, develop, and implement proof of concept and production-ready middleware and backend services, either independently or for use by other applications or layers;

* Debug and troubleshoot issues;

* Create modular, scalable middleware and backend services for use by other layers;

* Conduct research and development in various problem areas;

* Prepare detailed documentation and ensure compliance with our coding standards, including security.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

* Proficiency with Pandas, Numpy, Scikit, or other machine learning libraries;

* In-depth knowledge of multi-paradigm programming (object-oriented, functional, procedural);

* Familiarity with Python, Django, Tornado, Flask, SQL, and Python ORMs, RESTful services, pub/sub, Amazon AWS, Linux/Unix, TDD, and Virtualenv;

* Experience with distributed systems, SOA, or microservices architecture;

* Ability to design and implement large-scale, distributed application systems;

* Strong problem-solving, complexity analysis, and algorithm design skills;

* Advanced English language skills, both verbal and written.

Desirable Requirements:

* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience;

* Experience with NoSQL databases like CouchBase;

* Knowledge of MQTT, RabbitMQ, or Redis;

* Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes;

* Understanding of Stability and Capacity design patterns;

* Exceptional communication skills;

* Experience working in international, cross-functional, and remote teams.
