As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Fueled, you will design, construct, and scale high-performance web applications from the database tier to the user interface. You will manage the full spectrum of solutions, from API contracts and data models in TypeScript to robust front-end development in React and Next.js, ensuring seamless integration and superior user experiences. You will leverage type safety to enhance the evolution of complex, business-focused systems with confidence.

You will model relational and non-relational data, create pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces that perform under real-world conditions, and implement efficient caching strategies. Whether you are optimizing database queries, refining REST APIs, or refining front-end bundles, you will navigate the stack with ease. Your work transforms ambitious ideas into maintainable, forward-thinking systems that adapt to client needs, setting high standards for quality and performance, and consistently deliver measurable results.

Depending on your experience and project alignment, your role might focus more on Fueled’s Content Solutions or Digital Product practices. On the Content Solutions side, you may concentrate on headless content management systems, enterprise publishing platforms, performance optimization, design systems, accessibility, and SEO-driven front-end experiences. Within Digital Product, your work might revolve around complex web applications, stateful front-end systems, API and backend architecture, real-time functionality, and end-to-end product feature development across web and mobile ecosystems. Regardless of your focus, engineers at Fueled are expected to fluidly move across the stack and contribute to thoughtful, scalable user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of critical product features, from conception to deployment and beyond. You won't just code; you'll be pivotal in defining the technical approach, making key architectural decisions, and ensuring the final product is robust, scalable, and maintainable. - Design and build dynamic web experiences that can withstand the demands of real users and editorial teams, working across the stack to make informed decisions at every layer. - Raise the team's efficiency and standards by introducing and promoting tools and practices that enhance technical excellence. You will proactively identify and address bottlenecks, whether in build processes, state management, content modeling, or elsewhere, and implement solutions that benefit the entire team. - Bridge the gap between ambitious creative vision and technical reality, demonstrating that high-quality user and developer experiences are not mutually exclusive. You will collaborate directly with designers and strategists to challenge assumptions, explore possibilities, and build elegant solutions that are both functional and user-friendly.

- From day one, you will contribute to live client projects, driving immediate progress. - Within six months, you will lead and deliver a significant feature end-to-end and improve a key performance metric by at least 10%. - You will boost team efficiency by creating reusable components or processes that are adopted by your peers. - By twelve months, you will have overseen a substantial project phase from concept to launch, adhering to high standards and meeting deadlines. - Your expertise will be recognized through positive feedback from clients or the team on your ability to solve complex challenges.

You excel at diving into ambiguity, asking "why," and prototyping solutions to complex challenges, whether they involve headless architecture, microservices, or data flow. - You view the full stack as a cohesive challenge, comfortable crafting polished, dynamic front-ends with Next.js while diving into the back-end logic, API routes, caching strategies, or CMS configurations that bring it all together. - You are a natural collaborator and translator, capable of explaining technical constraints to designers and strategic goals to engineers, ensuring the entire multidisciplinary team is aligned and making progress together.
