To excel in this role, you should possess:
- At least five years of experience in test automation, covering both back-end and front-end systems; - Proficiency in test automation using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or another programming language, along with relevant automation frameworks and libraries; - Knowledge in API and UI test automation using tools like Selenium, Playwright, pytest, REST Assured, or similar; - A deep understanding of software QA methodologies, test design techniques, and risk-based testing approaches; - Experience with Kubernetes, both manually and from a testing perspective; - Familiarity with various data storages such as ClickHouse, MySQL, DynamoDB, or similar; - Practical experience with load and performance testing using tools like k6, JMeter, or Locust; - Solid SQL and scripting skills; - A good grasp of HTTP(S), XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; - At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Python and its testing ecosystem, including tools such as pytest, Playwright/Selenium, requests, SQLAlchemy, or similar; - Background in designing or developing test automation frameworks for functional and performance testing; - Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk; - Previous experience in the iGaming industry.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and enhance automation frameworks for functional and performance testing; - Analyze product and technical requirements to identify potential quality risks; - Develop risk-based testing strategies for new features and changes; - Collaborate with the development team to plan and prioritize testing activities; - Create a range of test scenarios, including positive, negative, boundary, and failure cases; - Maintain and improve existing automated test suites; - Work closely with developers to understand implementation details, investigate issues, and enhance testability; - Analyze test results, investigate failures, and assist in identifying root causes; - Keep relevant test documentation updated and continuously refine QA practices within the team.
