EDB is now seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) for EMEA. This role involves fostering and sustaining post-sales relationships with EDB’s largest and most intricate customers, typically those adopting Postgres and AI solutions. The Senior TAM acts as a reliable technical advisor to guarantee successful outcomes and positive customer references, while also being the primary liaison for all technical inquiries from the customer. The Senior TAM must possess strong technical acumen to identify solutions, architecture, resolve issues, and address technical queries.

Your Responsibilities…

* Forge a strong working bond with the customer's senior technical leadership and act as their trusted advisor.

* Assist EDB clients in optimizing their Postgres investments.

* Aid EDB customers in formulating and implementing Postgres strategies.

* Offer technical leadership for significant Postgres projects, including consulting on solutions, providing architectural guidance, and project management.

* Stay abreast of the entire EDB product line.

* Offer constructive and insightful product feedback to EDB’s product management teams based on customer needs.

* Document best practices in developing and deploying EDB solutions.

* Serve as a primary technical resource for best practices and informal customer inquiries.

* Travel up to 25% of the time as needed.

What Sets You Apart…

* A minimum of eight years of practical experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server; professional certifications in relational databases are a plus.

* Advanced technical expertise, particularly in data management, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture.

* Familiarity with data analytics and AI/ML concepts.

* Knowledge of Kubernetes.

* Strong analytical skills to tackle technical and project management challenges.

* A solid grasp of strategic sales processes.

* Excellent organizational skills to manage diverse client demands.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with C-suite executives.

* A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical background.
