Role Overview We are seeking a curious and analytical Data Scientist Intern to support data-driven decision-making across business and technology teams. This internship offers hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, building analytical models, and translating data insights into actionable outcomes. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build a strong foundation in data science, analytics, and applied machine learning. Internship Details

* Duration: 3 months, with potential extension based on performance

* Work Mode: Remote

* Stipend: Unpaid initially; performance-based evaluation in the first quarter may lead to a paid internship extension or full-time opportunity

* Working Hours: 8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

* Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data

* Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns

* Assist in building and validating statistical and machine learning models

* Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights

* Support data-driven decision-making through reports and presentations

* Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams

* Document methodologies, findings, and outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:

* Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

* Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis fundamentals

* Proficiency in Python

* Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn

* Basic knowledge of SQL

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred / Technical Skills

* Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and workflows

* Exposure to Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

* Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)

* Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

* Understanding of data pipelines and ETL concepts
