micro1 is seeking Specialists in Chart and Data Visualization Analysis (AI Training) to join a significant client project. Your role will involve applying your expertise to train advanced AI systems. The work you do will influence how models learn, reason, and perform based on high-quality, real-world data. No prior AI experience is necessary; what we value most is your domain knowledge. This opportunity is perfect for data-focused professionals with a keen eye for interpreting domain-specific charts, strong quantitative reasoning skills, and a commitment to clearly explaining complex ideas in both writing and speech. We especially encourage applications from those with backgrounds in Medicine and Biostatistics, Finance and Economics, Engineering and Physics, Earth Sciences and GIS, Data Science and Statistics, or Operations and Manufacturing.
Scope of Work
- Analyze and interpret domain-specific charts, graphs, and data visualizations with precision and accuracy, using appropriate domain-specific terminology. - Create clear, unambiguous questions that require multi-step quantitative reasoning based on richly detailed charts. - Design tasks that are focused on in-depth reasoning, detailed calculations, comparisons, and trend analysis. - Offer precise answers with thorough, step-by-step explanations of your reasoning and calculation process. - Use correct chart terminology, units, axes, scales, legends, confidence intervals, and time periods in all tasks and solutions. - Work remotely with project coordinators and reviewers, showcasing strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ensure tasks are clear, objective, and free from subjective conclusions or unnecessary complexity.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field (Medicine, Finance, Engineering, Earth Science, Data Science, Operations, etc.). - At least two years of professional, academic, or research experience working with domain-relevant charts or quantitative data. - An advanced degree, professional credential, or significant industry specialization is highly beneficial. - Proven ability to interpret and select complex charts, including those with multiple data series, annotations, or statistical features. - Experience in authoring technical assessments, benchmark questions, or structured analytical tasks for learning, analytics, or evaluation purposes. - Demonstrated skill in writing unambiguous, objectively answerable questions and communicating calculations clearly in English. - Experience collaborating remotely and communicating asynchronously with cross-functional technical or research teams.
