About You
You possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for regulatory compliance, digital assets, and artificial intelligence. You are adept at investigating unfamiliar regulatory areas, organizing intricate data, and creating clear initial drafts. You are eager to gain practical experience in how licensing applications and compliance reviews operate and can assist both structured audit inquiries and rapidly evolving client needs.
About the Role
In this position, you will aid the Engineering team in regulatory research, licensing analysis, AI output scrutiny, and client deliverables preparation. You will collaborate with client-facing teams, compliance evaluators, and Engineering to structure regulatory knowledge, draft initial analyses, and transform ongoing compliance tasks into reusable frameworks, templates, and workflows. All regulatory conclusions and client deliverables will undergo review by an experienced compliance expert.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and compile regulatory guidelines and licensing prerequisites. - Assist in licensing and regulatory readiness projects, including applicability analysis, gap assessment, evidence gathering, policy examination, and application-document preparation. - Organize regulatory demands into systematic modules, evidence categories, checklists, and mappings. - Examine AI-generated content for factual accuracy, source tracking, missing data, and formatting. - Create initial drafts of compliance evaluations, evidence guidance, client reports, pitch deck content, and review materials. - Support the upkeep of regulation-to-service mappings, evidence checklists, and submission-material reuse mappings. - Categorize customer-supplied materials and pinpoint potential evidence gaps for reviewer confirmation. - Document reviewer feedback and update templates, evaluation scenarios, and compliance knowledge resources. - Facilitate coordination and request tracking among client-facing teams, compliance evaluators, and Engineering. - Report ambiguous regulatory interpretations and unsupported assertions to experienced reviewers.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate from a program focused on law, finance, accounting, risk management, public policy, business, computer science, or a related field. - Exceptional research, analytical, and structured-writing capabilities. - High attention to detail, especially when reviewing regulatory sources, citations, and customer data. - Skill in organizing complex information into clear checklists, summaries, presentations, and reports. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Fluent written and spoken English; professional proficiency in Chinese is advantageous but not mandatory. - Interest in digital asset regulation, financial compliance, licensing, or AI-assisted compliance processes. - Familiarity with digital asset regulation, VASP licensing, or related regulatory systems is beneficial. - Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in compliance, law, auditing, fintech, digital assets, or regulatory research is advantageous. - Basic understanding of limitations of LLMs, risk of hallucination, source tracing, and human-in-the-loop reviews is preferred.
