Responsibilities
- Oversees and executes the transition of CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions. - Collaborates with shared repositories that contain Groovy and Bash-based shared libraries, Jenkinsfiles, and workflows. - Sets up and maintains Jenkins shared libraries, credentials, pipelines, and automation scripts. - Develops GitHub Actions workflows using shared repositories for various projects and tasks. - Manages GitHub Actions runners, secrets, and secure authentication between GitHub and runners. - Configures AWS IAM roles for EC2, IRSA for EKS, STS, and SSH access. - Works closely with development teams to enhance pipeline efficiency, security, and reliability. - Diagnoses CI/CD issues and optimizes build and deployment processes.
Qualifications
Core Competencies:
- At least 4 years of experience in the DevOps field. - Substantial hands-on experience with Jenkins (shared libraries, Groovy, Bash, Jenkins credentials, Jenkinsfiles). - Proficient with GitHub Actions (shared workflows, runners, secrets, and authentication). - Knowledge of AWS IAM roles, IRSA for EKS, STS, and SSH setup. - Strong scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, and Groovy. - Experience with Ansible. - Background in large-scale CI/CD migration projects. - Capable of handling complex, high-stress projects with tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience with Terraform (not mandatory but advantageous). - Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and EKS.
