The Opportunity

We are seeking a Partner Solution Architect (PSA) to join Datadog’s Director, Adoption Services, and align with our Channels & Alliances business segment. The PSA will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse range of technical initiatives and activities for our partners, such as cloud migration, application modernization, and DevOps transformation. They will be accountable for the success of these initiatives, working closely with both Datadog and partner resources to drive outcomes. The PSA will serve as a reliable technical advisor for our partner channel.

Your Responsibilities

- Ensure the successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources. - Participate in regular joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and partner technical teams. - Collaborate internally to support partner technical initiatives, including customer demonstrations, enablement workshops, assessment, advice, and coaching on best practices. - Advocate for partners' technical concerns, such as use cases, feature requests, and support issues, with Datadog’s internal teams. - Regularly analyze and understand partner service offerings to provide recommendations for enhancing the value of those services through greater or improved adoption of Datadog features and capabilities. - Work closely with Datadog’s product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify and prioritize new features and capabilities. - Continuously help develop and refine lead/best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success.

Your Qualifications

- A strong technical foundation with practical experience in IT development and/or operations. - A proven track record of learning and a passion for continuous improvement. - A proactive, tech-savvy professional with strong business acumen, capable of articulating Datadog's value from a technical perspective to a boardroom audience. - Excellent presentation skills. - Current EU resident. - Desirable experience in two or more of the following areas: - Observability: Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, or Dynatrace - Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba - Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry - Dev/Scripting: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go - Configuration Management: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef - CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab

Bonus Points

- Previous experience working in a technical role for or supporting channel partners (e.g., systems integrators, managed services providers). - Experience using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools (APM, infrastructure, logs, synthetic monitoring, NPM). - Experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
